The cause of this joyous mess ... a simple unavailability of Gmail, Google's webmail 425 million users.
Gmail has been subject to delays or even impossible to access. And users have reported the appearance of a 502 error, namely Bad Gateway or Proxy Error.
The incident, however, did not last long - a few minutes - and apparently it posed particular problems for users of Google Chrome with a browser crash. Apparently a problem with Google Sync.
